blah
I am having a discouraged day. The amount of weight I need to lose is so daunting. Exercise is hard to do when you are so big. I had just bought a treadmill before we moved, but I had to take it back because we don't have room in our apartment. I don't like healthy foods very much. And it is so hard to make 3 or 4 different meals at every meal for everyone. I know that it is hard work, but I sure wish there was an easy way! I wish I had the money to do weight watchers again. I had some success with them in the past. And I am realizing that I am not going to be able to go to my friend's wedding in November in CA. I am sure I am too big for a plane seat and any extra money I can scrape up has a much more important use than that. So I am just feeling sorry for myself today I guess. So sorry for whining, but thanks for listening to me vent:)

I never joined WW, I did it for free! :-)
ReplyDeleteJess- I have these days too, it is so hard sometimes! You should divide your weight loss into goals. like 6lbs, then when you lose 6, make it 6 more, etc. it can be very daunting looking at the bigger picture. and just take it one day at a time. it's a slow process. :-/ i am sorry you are feeling down about it. Hang in there... you will get there eventually, if you keep trying. And I dont know how you manage to make 4 separate meals! Good grief, simplify your meal time. One meal serves all, or people dont eat. Thats how it is here anyway. there have been [lenty of meals the kids have chosen to skip because they dont like the food, but what happens more often now, they are willing to try different stuff because they know how bad it sucks going to bed hungry ;-) Im praying for ya!!
ReplyDeleteOh Jess, I feel your pain! I have about 80 pounds to lose after all three of my children and the task just seems too daunting. I am finding it so hard to do with three small children. I have an appointment with a dietician, but part of me feels like it's pointless. I know what to eat and how much of it to eat. My problem is I need something my whole family will eat, is ready within about 30 minutes of me walking in the door and fits in my food budget. My prayers are with you. Now that school is starting again and I'm back on a more regular schedule I'm going to be working hard at losing weight, hopefully through the wonders of technology we can encourage one another. We can do this!
ReplyDeletePS- have you ever tried Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone. They carry it at my favorite store Walmart. She's very encouraging and the workouts are nice and low impact.
